Education is the foundation for any form of sustainable development. We are concerned with building people and growing our economy. To this end, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is saddled with the responsibility of providing good quality education at all levels through provision of learning resources, formulation and implementation of policies that facilitate involvement of private organisations and development partners.
The Ministry is headed by the Honourable Commissioner and supported by the Permanent Secretary and Directors of various departments in the Ministry.
